Ingredients and/or composition

• 100% corn, hydrated to ideal moisture content
• Packed in sturdy culture bag with injection port
• Equipped with a filter valve of 0.2 μm

Use

Inoculation:
Inject 2.5 to 5 ml of spore solution or liquid culture through the injection port. Ensure a clean work area and wear gloves.

Incubate:
Place the bag in a dark place with a temperature between 20 and 24 °C.

Colonize:
When the mycelium has spread about 7 to 10 cm, you can gently knead the bag to speed up the process.

Use in monotub:
Is the contents completely white with mycelium? Then mix 1 part colonized grain with 5 parts substrate.

After complete colonization, multiple harvests are possible.

Suitable mushrooms

Perfect for various Psilocybe cubensis varieties such as Golden Teacher and Mexican. Also great for edible varieties such as oyster mushrooms, shiitake and Lion’s Mane.

For species like Psilocybe cyanescens, azurescens or zapotecorum, use this grain spawn as an intermediate step to then inoculate wood-based substrates.
