Special Kush 1 (RQS)

Like skunk, Kush is a collective name for an entire family of cannabis strains. Before the discovery of the Kush, all cannabis species were called cannabis sativa. However, this cannabis plant differed so greatly from the well-known cannabis sativa that it had to be placed in a new category. Cannabis indica named after the place where they were first found became a new term in the cannabis world.
By now we know that indicas are found in other areas besides India, yet the name cannabis indica has stuck. It has also since become customary to name newly discovered cannabis genetics after the place where it was first found. Hence, one of the first Kush strains discovered was named after the Hindu mountainous region of Afghanistan and Pakistan: The Hindu Kush.
